  Walked in on a Saturday afternoon, there wasn't a person in sight... including the staff. Had to walk in and greet what looked to be a manager and waitress behind the bar. We were asked if we needed a menu or if we just wanted to sit at the bar. For some reason, this hit a nerve with me... of course we wanted menus. Once we asked for a table, we were seated and asked what we wanted for drinks. I asked about IPAs and the waitress replied that they had one in a bottle and one on tap. She did not know what was on tap and had to look through some notes. Yet another nerve! A server should at least know what is on tap!
  While she got our drinks, we looked through the rather intriguing menu. There were a lot of things I wanted to try! I ended up ordering a burger. Instead of rare, medium, or well, they cook them pink or no pink. Not a huge deal except that I ordered my burger with pink and it came out well done. It also took a LONG time for the food to come out, and we did not see our server once the order was placed until she brought the food out.
  While we were eating a family of four stopped in looking for some lunch. No one came out to greet them. The patriarch came in further and yelled 'hello?' quite audibly. Still no service for them. After a few more minutes they left.
  
  Overall, Chomp has a strong menu and the style of the dining room is very cool. This is my reasoning for giving two stars instead of one. If I had to guess, the issues in this place stem from poor/weak management. They need someone that will stay on top of the basics and keep their team on task. If there are not some changes made, I fear this place will go the same way as any of the restraunts that have occupied this venue.

  Nice selection of signature food dishes. From make your own bowls, to a burger on an iced donut bun there is enough uniqueness to keep you coming back.
  
  Beer selection was a little light for having "Bar" in your restaurant title, but they do have a decent red/white and cocktail selection.
  
  The service was attentive, but there was nothing that was a standout moment.
  
  I will definitely be back to try some of the other signature items from the menu.

  Wednesday, no crowd. Floor was sticky from not being cleaned, and I mean from the door to the table. Also, it took nearly 40 minutes to get our sandwiches. BUT... The food for the price was very well prepared, the service was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to trying it again
